Speciality meat market thief caught on camera

Three thieves are set to celebrate a good Christmas after breaking into a gourmet butchers and making off with the entire stock of a half a ton of speciality meats, including deer, pheasant and wild duck.

The crooks also stole several bottles of vintage wine after breaking into the store room in Vienna’s posh Naschmarkt.

Police estimate that the trio pulled off the theft by breaking a window and then one of them climbing inside to hand the food out to his two colleagues.

But the man inside was caught on CCTV , which has now been released as an image by officers in the hope that somebody might be able to identify the crook.
