More Austrian Airlines flights – starting in winter

Austrian Airlines will add 300 flights per week from Vienna to their schedule starting in November.Austrian Airlines said on Monday that the number of connecting flights would increase which would especially facilitate travelling from Western to Eastern Europe. The number of flights will increase from 20,000 to 20,300 per week and connecting flights will be coordinated. The additional flights should create more flexibility for growth in 2011 and “Austrian Airlines will use their planes more efficiently,” Austrian Airlines announced. The company added that the additional flights was the second step in the implementation of Austrian Airlines’ new marketing strategy that was started this spring with bigger planes, more flights on main routes and attractive prices.
