Baby tusker loves the snow

A young elephant born four months ago is enjoying playing in the snow, as pictures released by Vienna’s Schönbrunn Zoo confirm.Zoo director Dagmar Schratter explained today (Weds) there was no problem with Tuluba frolicking around in the white masses as long as he retreats into the heated enclosure together with his mum Numbi every once in a while.Around 20 centimetres of snow has fallen in the Austrian capital since last Friday.Tuluba, whose name was chosen by fans in an internet vote, has become a major attraction at the zoo which is located in the gardens of Schönbrunn Palace. Around 2.18 million people visited the former Imperial Zoo of the Austrian-Hungarian Royal Habsburg family last year.
