Goodall to visit Schönbrunn Zoo

British primatologist Jane Goodall will visit Vienna’s Schönbrunn Zoo on Friday, it has been announced.Zoo officials said today (Tues) that the world-famous scientist and chimpanzee expert will speak about respectful co-existence between humans and animals.They added Goodall, 76, would also meet local students to talk about her “Roots & Shoots” programme which focused on topics like deforestation and pollution.Dame Goodall, who has been active in researching chimpanzee’s habits and campaigning for decades, has received several awards for her efforts.The documentary “Jane’s Journey” will hit Austrian cinemas in October.Schönbrunn Zoo is one of Austria’s most popular tourist attractions. Situated in the Schönbrunn Palace Gardens, it is visited by hundreds of people everyday.
