A taxi driver was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend yesterday evening (Tuesday) in Wörgl, Tirol, Austria.
The 44-year-old man has admitted killing his 54-year-old former lover after being arrested at his apartment this morning (Wednesday).
The 44-year-old farmer stabbed the women to death with a pen knife in the throat.
The pair split around four-week-ago after a two-year relationship.
The man said he was trying to win the woman back. He had got into her taxi after talking with her.
Witnesses say they saw the taxi wobbling, then they said he got out holding a knife and then fled on foot.
They then saw the woman covered in blood and called the police and ambulance.
The attack was caught on CCTV and the video shows the man getting out of the car holding the knife.
The woman was initially revived but then died a short while later as a result of the stab wounds.
