Bathers save collapsed man’s life

An elderly man from Lower Austria is recovering in hospital after suffering a circulatory collapse while bathing in a lake in Burgenland yesterday afternoon (Sun).

The 61-year-old was dragged out of the pond by witnesses, police in Ritzing said today.

A doctor who happened to be among the bathers managed to resuscitate the man who comes from the district of Neunkirchen and who was hospitalised in Oberpullendorf.
