Bar boss beats up policemen

A landlord has been detained for attacking police officers after a visit of gastronomy sector inspectors.The bar owner was so angered by the unannounced appearance of two female food quality and labour rights officials that he started to insult them. After they failed to calm him down, the inspectors called the police.Officers had to apply pepper spray to overpower the infuriated pub owner after he started punching and kicking them.Police in Vienna’s Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus district said today (Thurs) the man could be prosecuted over last night’s occurrences.
