Official jailed for passing on drugs to sister

A juridical official has been sentenced to prison for providing his addicted sister with confiscated drugs.Gerhard Z. was given a four-year jail term, while his sister Eva N. was sentenced to three years behind bars at court in Korneuburg, Lower Austria, yesterday (Thurs).The former Vienna Criminal Court deputy chief was suspended when he was caught replacing seized cocaine with bags of flour before the illegal substances were transported to a furnace outside the city. Around four kilograms of cocaine were channelled that way.The man’s sister earned around 9,000 Euros when she started to pass on some of the cocaine to a dealer – who was sentenced to two and a half years – she met during rehab after a car crash. The woman, allegedly paid a third of the sum to her brother, used most of the money to finance her gambling addiction.
