Burgenland man arrested over €1mn drug trade claims

A Neusiedl am See resident is accused of having dealt drugs worth almost one million Euros.Police in the province of Burgenland said today (Fri) that the 31-year-old man was put in custody yesterday. He is suspected of having started the illegal activities at age 15.Officials said the street sale value of the substances the suspect in which dealt was around 930,000 Euros. They explained more than 133 kilograms of heroin, around 1,300 ecstasy pills and almost 100 kilos of cannabis could have been sold by the man since 1994.Meanwhile, police in the Tyrolean city of Innsbruck said 65 people were facing drug trade charges following undercover operations by plain-clothed officers.
