U2 ticket fraudster arrested
A 34-year-old Hungarian trying to flog fake U2 tickets has been arrested.Officials in Salzburg said today (Thurs) the man was travelling to Munich by train yesterday where the Irish rock giants appeared last night.His belongings were checked when police found out that he was banned from staying in Austria due to his criminal record.Officers discovered 31 forged tickets for the show at the German citys Olympic Stadium. The man, now in custody in Salzburg, has refused to make a statement about where he got the fake tickets.U2 performed in front of around 75,000 fans at Viennas Ernst Happel Stadium as part of their current 360° Tour last month.The four-member band will perform in Paris, France, on Saturday before they play a string of gigs in Spain, Australia and other countries.
