Polish lorry thief arrested

Polish police used a signal from a black box in a stolen lorry to locate and arrest a Polish man yesterday (Weds) who had burglarised a car repair firm in Strasshof an der Nordbahn in Lower Austria’s Gänserndorf district Tuesday night.Lower Austrian police said today the man had driven the lorry loaded with items stolen at the firm to Poland.The burglars caused damage of 120,000 Euro at the firm, taking aluminium wheel rims, tires, radios, a TV, laptops and diagnostic devices. They also stole a second truck at a nearby firm.Polish police are now looking for the man’s accomplices.
