Styrias Andritz in 50 Millionen-Euro deal with China

The Styrian mechanical engineering firm Andritz has secured a 50 million Euro deal in China.

The stock-listed company is to deliver ovens and equipment for the “Tangshan Iron and Steel Group”. The new tempering lines are for the production of highly resistant steel goods to be used in the automobile industry.

The Styrian firm will also be delivering automated systems, core process components as well as shears.

Andritz will be equipping a hot galvanising installation with a yearly turnover of 415,000 Euros as well as an annealing line with a 770,000 ton capacity.

The installations are due to be operational by the final quarter of 2014.
