‘Bulls’ sign up-and-coming midfielder

Red Bull Salzburg announced Stefan Hierländer will join them for next season.The talented midfielder scored four goals and delivered five assists in the past season at Austria Kärnten who will be relegated.Hierländer, 19, played for Italian giants Sampdoria in the 2007/2008 season.Champions Red Bull are also reportedly considering signing Ramazan Özcan from Turkish club Besiktas Istanbul. The former Austrian national team keeper, 25, was under contract to the “Bulls” between 2006 and 2008 before joining German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.Red Bull only recently announced that Energie Cottbus keeper Gerhard Tremmel will join them for next season as number one choice keeper Eddie Gustafsson is recovering from a broken calf bone and shin bone.Rapid Vienna meanwhile are eyeing Slovak midfielder Robert Jez, 28, whose contract at MSK Zilina expires at the end of this month. Rapid’s Albanian striker Hamdi Salihi, 26, is linked with AS Monaco.
