Hiker injured by heifer

An Upper Austrian woman had to be hospitalised after she was attacked by a cow yesterday (Sun).The woman from Obergrünburg was hiking in the Kalkalpen national park with her husband when the animal attacked her. The 54-year-old teacher sustained a flesh wound on her left thigh. She was airlifted to a hospital in Steyr.One day earlier, a farmer was transferred to a clinic after he was pushed to the ground by a cow at his farm in Kirchberg, Tyrol. The 46-year-old suffered multiple fractures in the incident.
