Drugs stashed under hat

A German man has been put in custody after police found out he possessed drugs – hidden under his hat.Officials in Schlitters, Tyrol, said today (Mon) the 19-year-old was put in custody after officers discovered 1.5 grams of marijuana in a small compartment weaved into the inside of his old-fashioned slouch hat on Saturday evening.The German was stopped by traffic police for erratically going along a busy main road on a bicycle. Investigations revealed that the mountain bike had been reported stolen.Only some days ago, police in Knittelfeld, Styria, announced that a 45-year-old man faces charges for growing marijuana in his weekend lodge in the town. Officers – who searched the property after having received an anonymous tip-off – found hashish worth 50,000 Euros.
