DO&CO serves up tasty Q1 figures

Viennese caterer DO&CO managed to raise earnings and turnover in the first quarter of its 2010/2011 business year (1 April to 30 June).The firm said today (Thurs) turnover had jumped by 15.6 per cent to 102.13 million Euros year on year, while earnings before interest and taxes improved from 3.44 million Euros to 4.81 million Euros at the same time.It added that earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) had increased from 7.52 million Euros in the first quarter of the previous business year to 8.98 million Euros in the first three months of the current business year.DO&CO – which is headed by Viennese businessman Attila Dogudan – does catering for several airlines and runs a posh eatery at the Haas-Haus in the city centre of Vienna.It also announced today that its airline catering division’s turnover had soared from 61.39 million Euros in the first three months of the past business year to 75.75 million Euros in the same period in the current business year.DO&CO was recently contracted to handle catering for the upcoming European Football Championship set to take place in Ukraine and Poland in 2012. The company was in charge of catering at the most recent Euro, which took place in Austria and Switzerland two years ago.
