Cow puts farmer in clinic

A Tyrolean farmer has been seriously injured by one of his cows at the weekend.The 46-year-old was knocked down by the heifer as he tried to herd his cows back to be milked at his farm in Kirchberg near Kitzbühel in Tyrol on Saturday.Local police said today (Mon) that the man sustained a broken skull and ribs in the incident. He was helicoptered to a nearby hospital.Earlier this month, a cow was shot by a policeman after it escaped from a slaughterhouse in Weiz, Styria.
