Dad and son shot in hunt

A father and son participating in a hunt were injured by stray shots at the weekend.The 47-year-old farmer and his son, 14, took part in the hunt near Kötschach in Carinthia on Saturday. Police said today (Mon) the man sustained an open wound on his forehand when being hit by a buckshot, while his son suffered a bruised thigh.Both were discharged after receiving immediate treatment at a hospital in Lienz.It is unlikely that the person who fired the shots which injured the pair will be identified, since 19 people participated in the deer and duck hunt.
