Woman hides newborn in wardrobe after secret pregnancy

A Lower Austrian woman managed to keep her pregnancy a secret from her husband and work colleagues, it has emerged.The 40-year-old mother of five was found lying on her blood-soaked bed by her husband when he returned from work yesterday (Weds).The man called the police and an ambulance when he discovered the newborn in a walk-in closet. The 43-year-old told officers he was unaware that his wife was expecting.Viennese news daily Heute reports that the woman’s colleagues at an office in Altweitra did not notice she was heavily pregnant either.Both the woman and her newborn son are doing fine, according to doctors at a local clinic.
