Tenant trapped in loo sparks fire brigade action

Wels firemen have been kept busy after a man locked himself in his own toilet around midday today (Fri).Officials in the Upper Austrian city said worried neighbours called fire-fighters after hearing the man’s cries for help.The local fire brigade was preparing to break down the apartment door when the 44-year-old’s son arrived with a spare key.The loo-trapped tenant was freed after being forced to spend more than an hour stuck inside due to a broken door lock.Fire-fighters advised the man – who lives on his own – not to lock himself in when he spends a penny at home.
