Jazz Fest Vienna brings the stars to the city

A string of international superstars and some of the most celebrated young artists of the world of pop, blues and jazz are set to rock the Austrian capital this summer.

The Jazz Fest Vienna is the perfect pick for music enthusiasts looking for first class performances in some of the city’s best venues such as the State Opera, the Porgy & Bess club and the Konzerthaus.

The series of events – a welcome contrast to the muddy chaos some of Europe’s open air festivals turn into with regularity year after year – includes the performances of Hollywood legend Liza Minelli, Roxy Music star Bryan Ferry, US blues trailblazer John Lee Hooker and many more.

The Jazz Fest Vienna’s programme also features the screening of live music films at the City Hall Square which can be attended free of charge.
