RHI earnings up sharply
Viennese technology and fireproof products maker RHI AG achieved earnings of nearly 140 million Euros last year.The company – which presented preliminary annual figures earlier this month – said today (Tues) its earnings before interest and taxes (Ebit) soared by 75.7 per cent to 138.8 million Euros from 2009 to the following year. RHI added that its annual turnover improved by 23.1 per cent to 1.523 billion Euros.The firm, which is headed by Henning Jensen, also announced that its profit climbed from 21.4 million in 2009 to 104.6 million Euros the year after.RHI has customers in the steel industry and the energy sector. It also receives orders from chemical companies and glass products manufacturers. The firm has more than 7,200 employees.One RHI share was valued at 25.12 Euros on the Vienna Stock Exchange (WBAG) at 1pm today, down from 25.41 Euros on 9 March and 26.70 Euros on 4 March.
