KLM Air France launch new routes from Salzburg and Innsbruck

Starting this winter, the Dutch carrier KLM will work together with a sister-airline of Air France to include two Austrian cities in their global network.

Flights will connect Salzburg and Innsbruck with the Dutch capital Amsterdam.

The KLM Air France group said KLM's new connections will enable so-called "codesharing" with the Air France's low-cost sister-airine Transavia.

After December 20th, 2012, both new routes will be fully operational.

From December 7th 2012 the Transavia airline will run one flight per day from Innsbruck to Amsterdam. From December 20th 2012 the same airline will run five more flights per week from Salzburg to Amsterdam.

Indirect flights using these routes can be booked as KLM connecting flights in all parts of the world.

KLM has ensured that Amsterdam is well connected to the rest of the world, with regular flights already running to the USA, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
