Upsidedown house opens for tourists

An upside down house is drawing onlookers in Terfens in the Austrian Tirol.

The house built on its head is completely upside down even the interior is all upside down including the bathroom and kitchen.

Designed and built by Polish architects Irek Glowacki and Marek Rozhanski, the house is meant to serve as a tourist attraction.

It is hoped the house will become a real tourist magnet. Local mayor Hubert Hußl said he hopes people will flock to the attraction and it will boost the local economy.

People are able to walk through the house and view for themselves the strange construction. Everything about the house is upside down including the interiors, all the fixtures and fittings and even the car parked in the garage!
