Spring at the palace
Gertenpalais Liechtenstein is inviting visitors to an exhibition with a different this time with a focus on all things to do with spring and a tour of its gardens.
As part of a general renovation the gardens at the Gertenpalais Liechtenstein were given a new lease of life and now they can be seen in their full glory.
The have made this part of the ninth district the most popular relaxation area with a spectacular display of flora including the Royal emblems in the gardens at the front of the property.
And garden lovers hoping to get a little bit more information or a few tips for their own garden are invited to an official tour set to take place at 14.45 on 11 May.
The meeting point for the tour which will take place regardless of the weather is the Sala Terrena and tickets cost €20 per person.

Individual tools can also be arranged from Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 4:30 PM.
The Gartenpalais was built by Prince Johann Adam Andreas von Liechtenstein, who commissioned its design and construction from Domenico Egidio Rossi; the shell was finished in 1700. Painted decor in the Palais was contributed by Marcantonio Franceschini, Antonio Belucci, Andrea Pozzo and Johann Michael Rottmayr. Sculpture came from Giovanni Giuliani and his studio, and stucco from the stuccator Santino Bussi.
