Red Bull troubles spread with new resignation after success
Austria's double champions Red Bull Salzburg have not had long to enjoy their victory after internal chaos that started with the resignation of head coach Ricardo Moniz, one day after the official training start.
And now one of the clubs spokesman has also resigned.
According to local media row between Moniz and the teams medic Dr. Markus Klein about training methods was the final straw for the decision to step down.
But the problem is apparently lay far deeper with strong differences Moniz and Oliver Glasner. Moniz among other things also missed the connection with club boss Didi Mateschitz.
The red Bull millionaire had already during last season indicated that Moniz was not an important part of the winning team with a quote saying: "There are also teams that still achieve wonders without a trainer."
The two co-trainers Piet Hamberg and Niko Kovac have currently taking over the job. But the 40-year-old Croat Niko Kovac is also reportedly being considered to take over the vacant post.
Others named as possible successors include Gerard Houllier and Ralf Rangnick, both reportedly at the moment without a club.
