Stöger dares FK Austria return

Peter Stöger will manage FK Austria Vienna from next season, it has emerged.

Stöger coached Wiener Neustadt last season. As a player, the former national team midfielder won the league title with the team he is about to take over as manager three times. Stöger also played for FC Tirol Innsbruck, Rapid Vienna and LASK.

Former SV Casino Salzburg star Heimo Pfeifenberger will take over from Stöger in Wiener Neustadt, club officials announced yesterday (Weds).
