FPÖ website hacked by Anonymous.

The hacker group Anonymous managed to hack the Freedom Party website and switched the usual content of the site with a protest against the EU Monitoring Project INDECT.

INDECT is a research project in the area of intelligent security systems performed by several European universities since 2009 and funded by the European Union.

The project aims to automatically detect criminal threats through processing of CCTV camera data streams.

The Internet activist left behind the message in which they labeled the INDECT project as "stupid".

They also posted a link to the website, are-you-terrorist.at. and left “best wishes” to the liberal MEP and INDECT critic, Franz Obermayr.

The site was restored to its original form at about 21:00.
