'Rallye di Vienna' to draw the masses
Thousands of motorsport enthusiasts are expected to come to Austria for this year’s "Rallye di Vienna" on 4 September.
A rolling museum of more than 400 vintage vehicles of 100 years of automobile history will take part in the race which starts on the southern outskirts of the city at 9am in the morning.
The cars will conquer a route featuring time trials and stops at landmarks such as Belvedere Palace and the giant Ferris wheel at the Prater amusement park before cruising the Ringstraße boulevard in the city centre around 3pm.
