Stolen lucky cow statue emerges
Fretting students set to sit their end of term exams shortly have been reunited with their lucky cow statue which went missing earlier this week.
The students at the Herbststraße institute for design in Vienna-Ottakring initiated a city-wide "Wanted: Our School Cow" campaign in a bid to be reunited with the statue designed with distinctive Hawaii flower prints.
The statue – considered a lucky charm by many students – was discovered standing under a few trees at a park in Währing district around four kilometres from where it had been stolen yesterday (Weds).
Workers of the city’s rubbish collection service picked up the statue and delivered it to the relieved students free of charge.
