Cyclist ended up in hospital after pig attack
Cyclist Robert S., 58, ending up in intensive care after he was rammed by a wild boar he cycled along a mountain path at Bad Deutsch-Altenburg in Lower Austria.
He was spotted unconscious by another cyclist and taken by air ambulance to Eisenstadt hospital where he told police what had happened when he came round the next day after being treated for head and back injuries.
He said that he remembered seeing the pig run off, and then he had passed out.
He added: "I was going downhill pretty fast and it still managed to bash me in the side and knock me off the bike."
