Visitors to be offered food at OAP homes
OAP homes in Salzburg are opening their doors for non resident OAP's to get a meal.
In five OAP homes in the city senior citizens now have the opportunity to get a meal.
Local official Ernst Hörzing said: "We have tried out the project in Taxham - there we have had 30 OAP's taking part in the project. In Hellbrunn we have already had 5 or 6 people take part. In Itzling we have a kids group who come and eat there too as well as local OAP's who come to eat there."
Hörzing added: "We want to open up our services to other OAP's. We for example are offering senior citizens the chance to take part in days out with the OAP home residents."
Three menus are available for the OAP's to choose from. The homes hope soon also to offer organic food for the OAP's as an optional extra.
