Pregnant women unhurt in crash thanks to airbags
Two heavily pregnant women has a lucky escape after both their cars were written off during a head on crash at Seekirchen in Flachgau, Austria.
Both women were taken to a hospital in nearby Salzburg where doctors confirmed the women and their unborn babies were unharmed. Two infants that were also travelling in the cars were also unhurt.
The accident happened when one of the pregnent women failed to see the other as she made a turn and the cars were written off when they collided head on. Both cars were fitted with airbags that had worked properly..
The road was closed for several hours while oil was washed from the road and the wrecks removed.
