Cock-a-doodle-doo record broken in Austria
Sergi, the cockerel from Kramasch in the Austrian Tyrol has broken the world record in cock-a-doodle-doos.
The two-year-old feathery friend now holds the current world record in crowing.
Sergio, the Tyrolian crowing champion is now waiting for other cockerels form Austria and the rest of the world to compete against him.
Sergio, an old English game, recently won the Tyrolian championships with 168 cock-a-doodle-doos in a row.
His owner Robert Schuchter said: "Sergio likes to crow to show he is boss. In the early hours of the morning he starts with his cock-a-doodle-doos.
"I have bred the birds for over thirty years but have never had one which crows as much as Sergio."
In October Sergio is travelling to Vienna to take part in the Austrian national cock-a-doodle-doo championships.
