GastroWorld files for bankruptcy

The gastronomy company GastroWorld GmbH has filled for bankruptcy after mounting up debts of more than one million Euro.

The company ran two café's namely Cafes Almrausch and First Floor in the Linzer Passage in Linz, Upper Austria.

Some 46 people have lost their jobs.

This came as a shock as the coffee shops were planning renovations at the beginning of the year.

The business was closed on July 1st 2012.
