Man trapped by hay ball

A farmer was seriously injured after being hit by a 250 kilo ball of hay at his farm in Moschendorf in Burgenland, Austria.

The 54-year-old man was organising the hay balls together with his son when one of the balls fell off the pile - landing on top of him.

His 31-year-old son called for help.

He was airlifted to hospital in Oberwart.
