Parents face court after kids vandalised church
The parents of two girls who smashed up the inside of a church in an orgy of violence because they were bored are to face criminal charges in behalf of their kids.
The two girls aged 10 and 11 had gone on the rampage in the church smashing up candles and vases, ripping up the flowers which were scattered over the church and throwing holy water onto the floor. They also ripped things off the wall and then fled – but were later called by local police.
The pair had been inside the Koglhof church in Weiz from nine o'clock in the morning until four in the afternoon carrying out their vandalism.
The two girls admitted what they have done.
