Millionaire raffles off villa
A Tyrolean self-made millionaire gave away his villa in a raffle yesterday (Tues).
Businessman Karl Rabeder moved out of the 321-square-metre mansion located in the town of Telfs to live in a small flat in the city of Innsbruck some months ago. He has given most of his fortune to poor people in South America as part of a microcredit charity project.
The 2,711-square-metre estate – which also features a pond and a spa – was offered in a lottery featuring 21,999 tickets. A woman from the German state of Bavaria was the lucky owner of the drawn ticket.
