Drunk Porsche driver arrested

A driver who was almost 4 times over the limit has been caught after overtaking an unmarked police car at Anif in Flachgau.

Although the speed limit was 70 km an hour the speeding driver was travelling at 122 and had a blood-alcohol level of 1.8 pro mil - almost 4 times over the legal limit.

The 37-year-old man from Pongau said he was driving home after a party and admitted he had been travelling too fast.

His driving licence was confiscated on the spot and he now faces a court appearance for drink-driving.
