European investment bank loan for Vienna hospital

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has confirmed it is lending 300 million Euros to co-finance the construction of a new 800-bed hospital in the North of Vienna.

The project will be the cornerstone of a balanced distribution of medical services within the city and allow patients to benefit from modern facilities and a high quality therapeutic environment for health care delivery, the EIB announced in a statement.
