Vienna Uni joins up with John Hopkins

Vienna’s Medical University is joining forces with America’s elite John Hopkins University.

The two institutions will cooperate in the areas of health economics and public healthcare.

The John Hopkins Carey Business School is a pioneer in terms of Healthcare Management and will be leading the partnership, which will see exchanges between teachers, students and researchers as well as the setting up of joint symposiums.

Until now, the business side of medicine has remained in the background in Austria, but all that is set to change.

A spokesman for the university in Vienna said: „We are very excited about the partnership."
