Ambassadors entertain in Vienna for charity
Tickets are now on sale for the annual "Ambassadors in Concert" gala which will take place on 14th November 2012 at Vienna’s Musikverein.
The event is a unique opportunity to be entertained by the instrumental and vocal talents of Vienna’s ambassadors, the high officials of International Organisations and their partners. Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Michael Spindelegger is the patron of the event.
Following the concert, this year the French Ambassador Stephane Gompertz will host a reception at his residence which is a short walk from the Musikverein on Schwarzenbergplatz (French Embassy, Technikerstrasse 2, Schwarzenbergplatz, 1040 Vienna).
Money raised by the event will benefit charity organisation NGO SOS Kinderdorf which is engaged in helping disadvantaged children. The charity was founded 60 years ago and is currently active in 132 countries. The Ambassadors in Concert will focus upon funding music therapy to aid traumatised children and also in assisting musically gifted children to realise their potential.
Tickets can be purchased for both concert and reception for €55 and reservations should be made via telephone on 01/7152115 or via email: prevedourakisATgmail.com.
Payment should be made to Bank Austria, BLZ 12000, No. 50900166629, Ambassadors in Concert. Reserved and paid tickets will be mailed up to 9th November 2012 and after this date reserved and paid tickets can be collected on the evening of the concert from the Box Office of the Musikverein.
