L´Osteria opens its doors in Salzburg

One of the popular "L'Osteria" restaurants opened its doors in Salzburg recently making it the newest incarnation of the successful restaurant chain.

The former "Gablerbräu", one of the oldest taverns in Salzburg, was reconstructed into the new restaurant "L'Osteria".

The owners Alexander Schwendemann and Maria Klara Heinritzi say that they have a simple concept, namely authentic Italian food, big portions and friendly prices.

The "L'Osteria" in Salzburg is the latest of many "L'Osterias" in Germany and Austria.

Overall 16 "L'Osterias" can be found in Germany and one in Linz - and now the newest location in Salzburg.

This year the "L'Osteria" business got the "Hamburg Food Service Price 2012".
