Herbert Grönemeyer announces additional Vienna concert
Herbert Grönemeyer has announced he will play an additional concert in Vienna after his November concert to be played at Vienna Konzerthaus on November 3rd sold out in just twenty minutes.
Grönemeyer has announced he will play another concert the day before on November 2nd.
The tickets go on sale this coming Thursday at 9 in the morning. A maximum of four tickets can be bought per person and tickets will be personalized to ensure fans and not black market ticket sellers get the most from the tour.
Grönemeyer is touring a series of smaller venues as part of a Jubilee tour. He is planning to play all his old classics on the tour.
Grönemeyer has put a list of 55 songs on his website and his fans can vote for which ones he should play on the tour. He will play the most popular 25 songs on his tour.
With more than 20 million CDs sold Grönemeyer is the most successful and influential German pop act. Albums such as his 4630 Bochum and Mensch sold million times over.
Grönemeyer also has an acting career and stared in Wolfgang Petersen’s ‘Das Boot’ film success.
His work he says has been strongly influenced by the personal experiences of the death of his wife and his brother within months of each other in 1998.
Grönemeyer is involved in many social projects and most recently works raising money for aid projects in Africa.
