Baby Tuluba celebrates second birthday

Vienna Zoo's star attraction baby elephant Tuluba will celebrate his second birthday on Monday.

Tuluba will be given a birthday cake and from 14.00 to 17.00 on Monday visitors can help celebrate his birthday.

There will be cake, activities form kids and cartoon character Benjamin Blümchen will be visiting. Kids will also have the opportunity to have their pictures taken with him.

Children will be able to make elephant drinking straws as well.

The director of Schönbrunn Zoo Dagmar Schratter said: "Zoo staff will prepare a special hay cake for Tuluba filled with sweet fruits and his favourite vegetables."

Tuluba weighs 600 kilos. He enjoys getting wet, having showers, playing with the ball and enjoys being the youngster of the pack.

Tuluba was born on 6. August 2010 and weighed 112 kilos at birth.
