Graz kids' museum has 300,000th visitor
The Graz children’s museum "Frida & Fred" received its 300,000th guest last Friday since its opening in 2003.
The museum, planned by Hemma Fasch and Jakob Fuchs at the city’s Augarten, is offering a family pass for 25 Euros a year.
Museum Director Jörg Ehtreiber said: "Many of our visitors come back, which we consider a sign that they feel welcome here. At a price of 25 Euros, a yearly family pass has paid for itself after a second family visit."
Two new exhibits will open at the museum on 20 March: "Blubberblubb," for three-to-six year olds, and "Erzähl mir was vom Tod" (Tell Me Something about Death), an interactive show for kids older than six.
The museum is located at Friedrichgasse 34, 8010 Graz. It is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 5pm, on Fridays from 9am to 7pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10am to 5pm. It is closed on Tuesdays.
