Spa tries to boost guest numbers
A newly built thermal spa in Tyrol is offering new special prices in order to raise visitor numbers after a disappointing start.
The newly opened Spa Ehrenberg in Reutte, Tyrol, has much fewer guests than expected.
Instead of the estimated 500 guests a day the average number of guests only adds up to around 350, say management.
Especially guests from the surrounding areas are missing in the spa.
Only 40 per cent of the people living in Reutte come to the new alp-spa which was build during the last winter.
To boost profits special prices are now being offered to get the necessary 420 pool-guests a day.
The construction expenses of the spa were estimated at around 16 million Euro but cost more than 19 million on completion.
