British owned ticket and event firm declares bankruptcy
The Austrian-based operation owned by a British ticket sales company has gone bust in Klagenfurt leaving 300 people as creditors.
Most of those were people who bought tickets from the Event and Ticket Shop Limited that then never received what they paid for.
The company that has declared bankruptcy is the daughter company of the Birmingham-based firm of the same name.
The company blamed the collapse of its business on the damaging behaviour of a former employee who had been fired and the ill-health of the managing director.
The company's only assets of the furniture in its office estimated to be worth around 5,000 Euros.
Against that our debts of around 138,000 Euros.
Bailiff's are currently looking at whether or not it is possible for any of the individuals involved with the company to be personally liable for the debt.
