Austrian's website lauded by Time Magazine
A stock market information platform created by an Austrian is in the top three in a prestigious US magazine’s annual ranking of the best homepages in the world.
StockMapper, masterminded by Hermann Zschiegner’s New York City-based multimedia agency TWO-N, came in third in the "Financial & Productivity" category of Time Magazine’s list.
Time praises the homepage – available at www.stockmapper.com – for not just posting tables of all stocks but also colouring them according to their market performance.
The magazine writes: "… the site allows users to manipulate the heat maps, organizing by geographic region, industry, index, price change, trading volume and total market capitalization. How cool is that?"
Innsbruck-born Zschiegner settled in the United States in 1999. The 39-year-old founded TWO-N six years ago.
